Key Role Responsibilities:

This role is suitable for enthusiastic and caring individuals who takes a strength-based, person-centred approach when supporting individuals with complex requirements and or with a disability. We encourage ongoing collaboration and actively practice effective communication with all parties involved, whilst ensuring our participants are included and feel respected for their culture, privacy, and dignity.

About You

• You will be empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting people with complex requirements or people with a disability to work towards the achievement of their life goals
• You strive to help others and have a genuine desire to make a difference in a person’s life
• You hold qualifications at or above a Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent OR two years or more work experience in relevant industries

Essentials

• Car, Victorian driver’s license, and comprehensive insurance
• Satisfactory Criminal History Check
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID, including a 3rd booster vaccine
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
• Willingness and ability to complete in-house and online training as required, e.g., NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
• Basic computer literacy
• Good command of the English language, in both spoken and written
